Position reports to: Production Manager
Responsibilities
- Forklift Operation: Operate propane clamp/squeeze lift or propane forklift to load/unload tractor trailers, stock shelves, and move heavy items
- Inventory Handling: Assist in receiving, staging, and shipping orders; perform cycle counts and inventory checks
- Picking & Packing: May use scanners or label orders for shipment
- Quality Checks: Inspect incoming/outgoing shipments for damage or discrepancies
- Documentation: Enter and update inventory records
- Safety & Compliance: Follow company safe practices and protocols, maintain a clean and organized work area, and adhere to loss prevention measures
- Team Support: Work with shipping/receiving teams, mangement, production, and other departments to ensure timely order of fulfillment
- Othe Duties: Complete other relational duties as assigned
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Forklift Experience: At least 2 years’ experience operating a forklift/squeeze
- Clamp/Squeeze Lift: 1 years’ experience
- Physical Ability: Ability to lift and move heavy objects safely and able to lift 35-50 lbs.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency with warehouse tracking systems
- Attention to Detail: Strong organizational and inventory management skills
- Attendance: Proven pattern on good attendance, dependability and punctuality
- Customer service: Provide the best in class customer service when interacting with vendors and internally with co-workers.
- Integrity: Must be a person of honestly and take ownership
- Language: Bilingual Eng and Spn
- Education: High school diploma or GED; some college preferred
Work Environment
- Setting: In-person warehouse/distribution center.
- Schedule: Monday–Friday, 9 AM–5:30 PM may require ovetime most days and some Saturdays as needed
- Conditions: Able to work in warm or cool environments; non-air-conditioned areas possible
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $19.00 - $22.00 per hour
