Position Summary
The Electrician is responsible for conducting, maintaining, testing, and repairing electrical/electronic, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems and components. This role applies technical knowledge to diagnose equipment malfunctions and restore operations efficiently. The Electrician supports the site’s business goals by ensuring equipment reliability and performing both emergency and scheduled maintenance tasks.
One position is for our C-Shift ( Wed = Noon - 6pm then Thurs, Fri, Sat = 6am - 6pm) One position is for our B-Shift (Sunday - Tuesday=6pm - 6am and Wed=6pm - Midnight
Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Perform diversified duties to install and maintain production machines and facility equipment.

Diagnose problems, replace or repair parts, and test systems using electrical and mechanical schematics.

Plan, layout, install, and repair complex electrical equipment including control panels, relays, circuit breakers, PLCs, and computer interfaces.

Provide emergency repairs during production and scheduled maintenance during service periods.

Conduct preventive maintenance on machines and facility systems (e.g., lighting, generators).

Read and interpret equipment manuals and work orders to perform required service.

Initialize, upgrade, and troubleshoot VFDs including Omron, Yaskawa, Emerson, ABB, and Siemens.

Install, start up, and shut down equipment following company safety procedures and OSHA requirements.

Use hand and power tools, electric meters, and material handling equipment to perform duties.

Detect faulty operations or defective materials and report issues to management.

Maintain clean and organized work areas.

Comply with OSHA and company safety regulations.

Perform other duties as assigned to support production efficiency, quality, and safety.
Qualifications

High school diploma or GED required.

Completion of a craft apprenticeship, military service in electrical/equipment repair, or equivalent education and experience.

Associate degree in electrical or industrial maintenance is a plus.

3+ years of manufacturing or military maintenance experience preferred.

Must be highly motivated and able to work independently.

Must be willing to be on call due to 24/7 operations.
