This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to utilize your diverse nursing skills across various specialties, incuding gynecology, Functional/Integrative medicine, nutritional counseling, and medical aesthetics.
Responsibilities
- Perform patient assessments by taking vital signs, medical histories, and conducting physical examinations with precision and compassion.
- Administer injections, medications, and IV infusions following strict aseptic techniques and safety standards. Must be comfortable with starting and running IVs.
- Assist with diagnostic procedures such as phlebotomy, specimen collection, and laboratory processing using EMR (Electronic Medical Record) systems
- Support clinical workflows by triaging patient calls, managing appointment scheduling, checking patients in and out for visits, and coordinating follow-up care in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
- Educate patients on treatment plans, medication administration, nutrition, and health coaching tailored to individual needs.
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Perform medical aesthetic procedures such as botox injections as well as microneedling for collagen induction therapy and for use in the treatment of hair loss.
Qualifications
- Valid RN license with current state licensure required; experience working in medical offices or outpatient clinics preferred.
- Demonstrated proficiency with EMR/EHR systems.
- Extensive knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, and diagnostic evaluation techniques.
- Experience in diverse clinical environments including urgent care, primary care, Ob-Gyn, or behavioral health is highly desirable.
- Skilled in performing venipuncture, running IVs, and basic life support (BLS).
- Familiarity with ICD coding (ICD-10/ICD-9) is beneficial.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities efficiently while maintaining high-quality patient care standards.
