Leasing Agent Job Position Summary
You will be responsible for conducting tours, leasing apartments and townhomes on the property, and performing administrative duties as assigned. Additionally, you will assist the Property Manager as needed.
Leasing Agent Essential Duties and Responsibilities
These responsibilities are not limited to the job specifications outlined here; additional duties or job functions may be required as deemed necessary by supervisory personnel.
- Complete lease forms or agreements and collect rental deposits.
- Ensure that "model" apartments and target apartments are ready for showings.
- Maintain clean and orderly work areas and offices, while being mindful of the property’s curb appeal.
- Have a thorough knowledge of lease terms, specifications, and all community policies.
- Be knowledgeable of required telephone and sales techniques.
- Stay informed about current market conditions (training will be provided).
- Be fully informed of current rental rates, sizes, locations, and all property amenities (training will be provided).
- Maintain confidentiality with all resident and prospect information.
- Keep office operations flowing efficiently and maintain a positive attitude with anyone who enters the office.
- Develop a full knowledge of application information requirements, screening processes, and rental policies.
- Conduct outreach marketing at least once per week.
- Develop and maintain an ongoing resident retention program under the direction of the Community Manager or Regional Manager.
- Play an active role in the renewal process.
- Ensure proper maintenance of all resident and property files.
- We also need someone creative for planning resident events and managing social media marketing pages.
- Data entry or bill coding experience is a plus!
- Proficiency in Microsoft programs is required.
- Marketing experience, especially in social media, is a plus!

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.00 - $23.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40.0 per week
