We are looking for a competent Restaurant Hostess to greet and seat guests. You’ll be the face of our restaurant and responsible for our customers’ experiences. Hostess responsibilities include ensuring our tables are clean and tidy when guests arrive, warmly greeting guests, and taking togo orders. You need to be quick on your feet (literally and metaphorically) and have a polite and friendly attitude. If you enjoy talking to people and thrive in a fast-paced workplace, we’d like to meet you. Your ultimate goal will be to provide high-quality service that will help us maintain and attract customers
Hostess Job Responsibilities:
- Welcome guests in a warm and friendly manner.
- Ascertains their dining/visit needs.
- Seats guests and manage the seating chart.
- Monitors restaurant activity to determine seating and dining flow.
- Responds to guest inquiries and requests in a timely, friendly, and efficient manner.
- Performs opening and closing duties, as needed.
- Assists others with side work including, but not limited to cleaning, stocking, folding silverware, etc.
- Helps fellow team members and other departments wherever necessary to maintain positive working relationships.
