We are looking for an experienced flat-rate technician to join the team at Acura of Modesto! The store is under new and energetic management as of July 1. Duties
- Perform comprehensive diagnostics using automotive electrical systems, schematics, and advanced diagnostic tools to identify issues accurately.
- Perform repairs at the highest level of quality and service.
- Work with the Service Team to ensure vehicles are diagnosed, repaired, quality checked, and cared for in a timely manner that benefits the customers needs.
- Conduct repairs on various vehicle systems including engines, transmissions, powertrains, suspension, shocks & struts, brakes, and steering components.
- Utilize hand tools and power tools efficiently to disassemble, repair, and reassemble vehicle components with precision.
- Read and interpret automotive schematics for complex electrical or mechanical issues to streamline repair processes.
- Maintain detailed records of repairs performed and communicate effectively.
Experience
- Proven mechanic experience with a strong background in automotive repair across a variety of systems.
- Acura or Honda Dealership experience is preferred, demonstrating familiarity with manufacturer-specific procedures and standards. However, this is not a requirement. We just want good people!
- Hands-on experience working with automotive diagnostics tools and electrical systems is essential.

Pay: $32.00 - $42.00 per hour
