Summary of Job:
A Network Audit Technician will primarily be responsible for performing circuit audit testing within data centers. Lead Tech / Supervisors will receive service tickets where the assigned Tech will go to specific network switches, test fiber connections, help troubleshoot connections, validate port assignments and gather and send test results. There are no cabling and termination skills required. Only testing and repatching devices.

Equipment &Training:
All equipment will be provided such as - tablet/PC, bar scanner, fiber cleaning tools, VFL (visual fault locator) etc. All PPE will be provided except work boots. Must have / provide your own pair of ASTM rated composite toe boots. Workdays and weeks can be long and overtime may be required. OSHA certification is a plus and will be required. We can provide training.
Relocation:
Relocation is not available for this position. Candidates must live in or commute to the New Albany / Columbus, OH area.
Major Responsibilities:
Maintain safe work procedures, working on lifts, ladders, and construction sites as well as clean office environments as must.
Troubleshoot, diagnose systems and/or equipment.
Identify/Test fiber optic communication cable.
Identify color codes for 568A, 568B, 6 strand fiber, 12 strand fiber, 25 pair and 50 pair.
Label and document horizontal, backbone and other cables.
Maintain inventory of tools, test equipment, and required materials.
Read / acknowledge understanding of Toolbox Talks and deliver information in safety meetings.

Regularly exposed to work in non-climate-controlled environments.
May be exposed to airborne particles in construction environments.
Noise levels can be high depending upon work site and tools.
Work schedules may vary, including early mornings and evenings, based on project demands.
