Duties
- Perform routine maintenance, repairs, and troubleshooting on marine equipment utilizing hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and precision measuring instruments such as calipers and ohmmeters.
- Fabricate and modify parts or components as needed for vessel repair or upgrade projects.
- Execute electrical work including soldering connections, wiring harnesses, and diagnosing electrical faults with multimeters and ohmmeters.
- Assist in assembly, disassembly, and rigging of marine systems to ensure proper installation and operation.
- Utilize heavy lifting techniques safely to handle large components or machinery during maintenance or installation tasks.
- Provide exceptional customer service by communicating technical findings clearly to clients or team members and ensuring their needs are met efficiently.
Experience
- Proven service technician experience in marine or heavy machinery environments with a strong mechanical background.
- Experience working with electrical systems, wiring diagrams, soldering techniques, and troubleshooting electrical faults.
- Hands-on experience with rigging, fabrication and the use of power tools.
- Knowledge of vehicle maintenance practices applicable to boats or heavy-duty vehicles; previous mechanic experience is highly valued.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely while maintaining attention to detail during maintenance tasks.

Pay: $23.00 - $35.00 per hour
