North County Animal Hospital is a newly established, locally owned veterinary clinic located in the heart of Vista, California — and we are already making our mark on the North County community. Under the leadership of Dr. Mona King, our Medical Director, we opened our state-of-the-art facility with a clear purpose: to provide the highest level of compassionate, love-driven care for pets and to build lasting relationships with the families who trust us with their most beloved companions.

The Facility & Medicine
Our state-of-the-art facility was purpose-built with the latest technology and designed to support a full spectrum of general practice medicine — from preventive wellness to complex diagnostics, surgery, and integrative care. You’ll have the tools you need to practice excellent medicine and the team around you to back it up.
You can expect:
- A diverse and rewarding GP caseload including wellness, dentistry, surgery, diagnostics, and urgent care
- Convenient in-house diagnostic capabilities for fast, accurate results
- Full surgical suite for routine and complex procedures
- Integrative medicine offerings including laser therapy and complementary therapies
- Hospice and palliative care services for end-of-life support
- Urgent care capabilities to serve the community in times of need
- In-house pharmacy and online pharmacy portal for seamless client convenience

Who We’re Looking For
We are looking for a doctor who shares our belief that love is at the heart of great medicine — someone who is as passionate about their clients and community as they are about clinical excellence.
- DVM or equivalent from an accredited institution
- A genuine passion for general practice and relationship-based veterinary medicine
- Strong clinical skills across wellness, dentistry, diagnostics, and soft tissue surgery
- Excellent communication skills with a warm, client-centered approach
- A collaborative mindset and openness to mentorship and continued learning
- Interest in or experience with integrative medicine is a plus
Both new graduates and experienced DVMs looking for a values-driven home are encouraged to apply.

Pay: $140,000.00 - $170,000.00 per year
