Job Overview
We are seeking an energetic and customer-focused Part-Time Front Desk Agent to join our team. In this vital role, you will be the first point of contact for our guests, providing exceptional service, managing reservations, and ensuring a smooth check-in and check-out process. Your enthusiasm and professionalism will help create memorable guest experiences that keep visitors coming back.
Duties
- Greet guests warmly upon arrival and assist with check-in and check-out procedures efficiently.
- Handle guest inquiries via multi-line phone systems with professionalism and courtesy.
- Manage reservations using hospitality management systems such as OPERA or property management systems (PMS).
- Provide information about hotel amenities, local attractions, and directions to enhance guest experiences.
- Address guest concerns promptly, demonstrating excellent customer service problem-solving skills.
- Follow hotel emergency procedures to ensure guest safety at all times.
- Maintain accurate records of guest information, reservations, and billing details.
Requirements
- Previous experience in hospitality or hotel front desk operations preferred.
- Bilingual or multilingual abilities are highly desirable to serve diverse guests effectively.
- Familiarity with hospitality reservation systems such as OPERA or similar PMS platforms.
- Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest relations and problem resolution.
- Excellent phone etiquette and communication skills for handling guest inquiries professionally.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, as part of a part-time schedule.
- Knowledge of hotel emergency procedures and night audit processes is a plus.
- Resort experience or working in a busy hotel environment is advantageous.
