Overview
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Site Supervisor – Construction to manage daily on-site operations and ensure crews and subcontractors show up and perform as scheduled. This role is essential to keeping projects running smoothly day to day, working closely with and reporting directly to the Project Manager. This position requires a flexible work schedule and the ability to work nights as project needs demand.
Compensation: $50,000–$80,000 annually, based on experience
Responsibilities
- Confirm daily attendance of crews and subcontractors, tracking who is on-site versus scheduled
- Oversee day-to-day site activity, ensuring work is progressing and the site stays organized and safe
- Communicate daily progress, delays, and issues to the Project Manager
- Conduct basic safety checks and enforce site safety policies, including OSHA standards
- Coordinate with subcontractors and suppliers on-site to keep work on schedule
- Reference blueprints and plans to confirm work is being completed correctly
- Use monday.com or similar software to log daily updates and track scheduling
- Maintain a daily log of site activity, attendance, and any incidents
Experience
- Prior experience on active construction sites, supervisory experience preferred
- Comfortable managing people and holding subcontractors accountable to schedule
- Basic ability to read blueprints and construction plans
- Familiarity with OSHA and general site safety practices
- Strong communication skills, especially reporting up to a Project Manager
- Experience with scheduling or project tracking software a plus
Physical Requirements
- Ability to walk, stand, climb, bend, and kneel for extended periods on active construction sites
- Capable of lifting up to 50 lbs and navigating uneven terrain, scaffolding, and ladders
- Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions
- Ability to wear required PPE (hard hat, safety glasses, steel-toed boots, etc.) for the duration of site visits
Pay: $50,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
