Job Summary
We are seeking a passionate and energetic Pizza Maker/Prep Cook to join our dynamic culinary team! Duties
- Prepare pizza dough, sauces, toppings, and other ingredients according to established recipes and quality standards
- Operate kitchen equipment such as ovens, mixers, slicers, and food processors safely and efficiently
- Assist in menu planning by preparing ingredients needed for daily specials or seasonal offerings
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of workstations following food safety sanitizing procedures
- Support high-volume food production by efficiently prepping ingredients for multiple orders
- Ensure proper food handling, storage, and rotation to uphold food safety management protocols
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely meal preparation and excellent service delivery
- Follow recipe adherence meticulously to maintain consistency in taste and presentation
- Assist with catering events or special functions as needed, supporting overall food service efforts
- Uphold standards of hygiene, safety, and quality throughout all kitchen activities
Experience
- Previous experience in food preparation or as a dietary aide is preferred but not required; training will be provided for the right candidate
- Experience working in fine dining or high-volume restaurant settings is highly desirable
- Demonstrated skills in food handling, cooking techniques such as grilling, braising, poaching, and frying are essential
- Familiarity with operating commercial kitchen equipment safely and effectively is necessary
- Knowledge of food safety sanitizing procedures and food safety management practices is required
- Proven ability to follow recipes accurately while maintaining efficiency during busy periods
- Experience in menu planning or culinary arts programs will be considered a strong asset
