Whatnot Live Sales Host Job Overview
Poppington's Gourmet Popcorn is looking for an energetic, outgoing, and confident Whatnot Live Sales Host to represent our brand during live shopping events on Whatnot.
As a Live Sales Host, you'll be the face of Poppington's while engaging with customers in real time, demonstrating products, creating an entertaining shopping experience, and driving sales through live auctions and direct interaction.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys performing, interacting with people, and thrives in a fast-paced sales environment. No prior Whatnot experience is required (we will provide training for the right person).
Compensation
This position is performance-based and rewards motivated individuals.
(Minimum 10% commission on net sales per live stream)
Schedule
- Approximately 20 hours per week
- Four-hour livestream shifts
- Evening availability may be required
- Consistent weekly schedule
Responsibilities
- Host live Whatnot auctions and sales events.
- Build excitement and maintain high energy throughout each livestream.
- Demonstrate and discuss popcorn flavors and products.
- Encourage customer engagement through conversation and interaction.
- Answer customer questions in real time.
- Promote featured products, bundles, and special offers.
- Maintain a professional and positive on-camera presence.
- Follow company pricing and promotional guidelines.
- Work closely with the production team to ensure a smooth livestream experience.
- Help create a fun, welcoming community that encourages repeat customers.
Post-Show Responsibilities
At the conclusion of every live show, representatives are responsible for:
- Packaging any remaining customer orders.
- Cleaning and organizing the livestream workspace.
- Returning all products to their designated storage locations.
- Disposing of trash and shipping materials.
- Organizing shipping supplies for the next livestream.
- Reporting inventory shortages or damaged products.
- Ensuring the livestream area is fully reset and ready for the next host before leaving for the day.

- Able to stand for the duration of each four-hour livestream.

Pay: $20.00 - $100.00 per hour
