**Job Summary:**
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Food Manager to oversee our food service operations. The ideal candidate will have a background in food handling, customer service, and leadership, with a passion for delivering exceptional dining experiences. This is a part-time position (8:00 am -1:00 pm)
**Duties:**
- Manage daily food service operations, including food pickup and delivery from a local school
- Ensure adherence to food safety standards and quality control
- Coordinate with suppliers to maintain inventory levels and ensure timely deliveries
- Develop and implement strategies to enhance student satisfaction and increase sales
- Utilize proper food handling techniques and customer service protocols
**Qualifications:**
- Proven experience in a similar role within the hospitality industry, preferably in a hotel or restaurant setting
- Strong knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices
- Excellent supervisory skills with the ability to lead and motivate a team
- Proficiency in inventory management
- Customer-focused mindset with exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities
- Certification in food handling or ServSafe Manager is a plus
