Summary
We are seeking compassionate and skilled Registered Nurses to join our team at Spring Valley Living. In this role, you will provide high-quality nursing care to our residents, ensuring their health and well-being while contributing to a positive living environment.
Current Openings
Full-Time Days with rotating weekends and holidays
Full-Time NOC with rotating weekends and holidays
Part-Time Day/Eve with rotating weekends and holidays
Responsibilities
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
- Conduct thorough physical examinations and document medical histories.
- Perform professional services such as catheterization, tube feedings, suction, applying and changing dressings/bandages, packs, colostomy, and drainage bags, taking blood, care for the dead/dying, etc. as needed, and other nursing procedures with precision.
- Ensure narcotic records are accurate and notify the Director of any drug related discrepancies.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop individualized care plans.
- Maintain accurate medical documentation using Point Click Care software.
- Educate residents and families on health management and wellness practices.
- Complete accident/incident reports as necessary.
- Complete any other tasks as deemed necessary by your supervisor.
Requirements
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Minnesota.
- Experience with medical documentation processes is preferred.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a healthcare team.
- Compassionate attitude towards patient care with excellent communication skills.
