Production Scheduler / Inventory Control
High paced 24-hour manufacturing and converting operation seeking strong, solution- oriented Production Scheduler / Inventroy Control. Operations include Paper converting, flexographic printing, coating and laminating for two and three shift operations.
Position serves as a control point across all production departments to expedite material flow, personnel planning, and machine utilization. Duties include detailed production planning and distribution of production schedules; maintaining and managing work order and scheduling system; direct daily contact with customer service to understand and meet customer demands; hold weekly open order meetings with sales, sales service, production, and logistics; close work with factory supervision to track progress of work and plan accordingly to meet customer demands; conferring with Purchasing department to assist in raw material purchases and planning. Manage the daily production reporting process, reconciling inventory relief compared to reported production. Actively manage inventory levels, stocking targets, finished good fast movers. Develop and maintain cycle count program.
Candidate must also complete and provide reports to manage progress of work, aid in meeting efficiency goals, inventory levels, and aid in solutions regarding material/machine issues.
Requirements:
- Strong analytical skills, computer skills, and math skills
- Must be proficient in all Microsoft office applications
- College degree or equivalent industry experience preferred
- Experience with ERP computer systems a plus
- Familiarity with Manufacturing environment
