Position Summary
The Manufacturing Engineer is responsible for developing, implementing, and continuously improving manufacturing processes, including ownership of BOMs, ERP data, work instructions, and process & packaging specifications, to ensure efficient, high-quality, and repeatable production.
Key Responsibilities
- Process Development & Ownership: Define and improve manufacturing processes, develop routing steps, cycle times, and workflows.
- BOM & ERP Management: Create and maintain BOMs and manage ERP data including part masters, routings, and revisions.
- Work Instructions & Specifications: Develop SOPs, setup sheets, inspection & packing specifications.
- Production Support & Troubleshooting: Support the production floor and resolve process, tooling, or material issues.
- Continuous Improvement: participate in initiatives to improve cycle time, yield, and efficiency.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work with production, quality, and supply chain teams.
- CAD Support: Create, modify, and maintain CAD models and drawings to support manufacturing. Provide backup for our tooling designer.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field.
- 2+ years of manufacturing experience.
- Experience with ERP systems, BOMs, and process documentation.
- Strong problem-solving skills.
Preferred Skills
- Lean manufacturing experience.
- Ability to read technical drawings and GD&T.
- Familiarity with inspection methods and QC checkpoints.
- Strong Excel or data analysis skills.
- Basic CAD proficiency (SolidWorks, AutoCAD, or similar).
Pay: $28.50 - $31.25 per hour
