WHO WE’RE LOOKING FOR:
A friendly and compassionate Environmental Services Aide! As an Environmental Services Aide at St. Johnland, you will play a vital role in maintaining the cleanliness of our facility, helping to maintain a safe environment for our residents, visitors, and staff, adhering to infection control policies and all safety protocols. Responsibilities include:
- Daily dusting, sweeping vacuuming, and mopping of floors
- Polishing furniture
- Cleaning restrooms and trash removal
- Disinfecting all areas as scheduled
- Laundry services as needed – Assist in processing resident clothing and linen distribution
- May also provide assistance to grounds department during inclement weather
WHAT YOU NEED:
(Requirements/Qualifications)
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and stand for long periods
- Frequent bending and walking required
- Experience in long term care preferred
- Experience in floor care preferred, but not required
- One year of similar cleaning experience preferred
- Commitment to providing exceptional care and service to our residents
