Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly upon arrival, ensuring a friendly and professional first impression
- Manage guest check-in and check-out processes efficiently using hotel management software
- Handle guest inquiries, requests, and complaints with patience and proactive solutions
- Maintain accurate records of reservations, cancellations, and special requests
- Operate multi-line phone systems with excellent phone etiquette to assist callers promptly
- Coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance teams to address guest needs swiftly
- Support night audit procedures to reconcile daily transactions and ensure financial accuracy
- Provide information about hotel amenities, local attractions, and services to enhance guest experiences
- Uphold hotel policies and procedures to ensure safety, security, and guest satisfaction
- Assist in managing guest relations by fostering a welcoming environment throughout their stay
Skills
- Proven experience in hospitality management or hotel front desk operations
- Exceptional customer service skills with a friendly, approachable demeanor
- Multilingual or bilingual abilities are highly desirable for serving diverse guests effectively
- Strong communication skills, including phone etiquette and multi-line phone system proficiency
- Knowledge of hotel management systems and reservation software is preferred
- Ability to handle night audit responsibilities with accuracy and attention to detail
- Excellent organizational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a busy environment
- Familiarity with resort or hotel operations, including guest relations and hospitality standards
