VA Commercial Repair Solutions is seeking a skilled Commercial HVAC Installer with 3–5 years of hands‑on experience. We are looking for a dependable, competent technician who can be trusted to run jobs, supervise a crew, and uphold high installation standards on jobsites throughout the state of Virginia.
- 3–5 years of commercial HVAC installation experience
- EPA 608 Certification (required)
- Working knowledge of IMC 2021, especially Chapters 3 & 5
- Ability to lead a crew on job sites and execute installations with minimal oversight
- Strong teamwork, communication, and problem‑solving skills
- Desire to grow into a lead or supervisory role

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Execute commercial HVAC and Kitchen Hood installations in accordance with IMC 2021, with emphasis on Chapters 3 and 5.
- Lead or work within a crew to complete installations safely, efficiently, and to code.
- Interpret job plans, scope of work, and installation requirements with minimal supervision.
- Perform mechanical tasks requiring strength, coordination, and physical stamina, including lifting up to 50 lbs.
- Work at heights, on rooftops, and in varying environmental conditions while following all safety protocols.
- Communicate clearly with team members, supervisors, and customers to ensure smooth job execution.
- Maintain a professional, team‑oriented attitude and contribute to a positive jobsite environment.
- Uphold company standards for workmanship, safety, and jobsite organization.
The ideal candidate should possess:
- 3–5 years of hands‑on HVAC installation and or Kitchen Hood Installation experience
- in commercial or mixed‑use environments.
- EPA 608 Certification required.
- Solid understanding of IMC 2021, especially Chapters 3 (General Regulations) and 5 (Exhaust Systems).
- Proven ability to work independently or lead a small crew on job sites.
- Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to troubleshoot and execute installations to code.
- Comfortable working at heights and capable of lifting up to 50 lbs.
- Demonstrates a strong work ethic, professionalism, and commitment to high‑quality workmanship.
- Valid driver’s license with an insurable driving record.
- Must be able to pass a background check.
- Team‑oriented mindset with the desire to grow into a lead or supervisory role.

Schedule:
- 4 x 10s, on a rotating M - F schedule
- Meets at a shop and takes trucks to load out.
- Travel: 50% of the time, with travel flexibility required for projects throughout the state
