Appraisal Order Coordinator (Account Manager) — Remote after Paid Training
Home Base Appraisal Management provides nationwide real estate appraisals to mortgage companies, banks, and private clients. Established in 2009, our close-knit team strives to provide the most personalized and caring service in the industry.
This is a remote position — after a paid, one-time training period of 4–8 weeks at our Draper, UT office, you'll work from home full-time.
Position Summary
You'll own the appraisal order lifecycle from intake to delivery, using custom software to keep clients and appraisers aligned every step of the way. This is a role for someone who enjoys taking initiative — who sees a problem, solves it, and keeps stakeholders in the loop.
We're looking for a self-starter who is analytical and proactive about staying current with industry best practices. Real estate, mortgage, or appraisal industry experience is a strong plus — you'll ramp up faster if you already understand how the appraisal process works.
What You'll Own
- Order intake & assignment — Review incoming appraisal orders to ensure we have all required information, then assign to the right appraiser on our rotating panel based on client, location, product type, and due date
- Client & appraiser communication — Be the primary point of contact between clients and appraisers, using web messaging, email, phone, and text to keep everyone informed
- Deadline management — Proactively follow up with appraisers to keep orders on track, flagging risks to clients before they become problems, not after
- Compliance & training — Complete required training, and staying current on evolving industry standards
- Customer support — Field service calls and troubleshoot basic website issues for clients
- Data handling — Follow company and industry guidelines to keep sensitive information secure at all times
