Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Maintenance Supervisor to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical systems and industrial mechanics, with a focus on maintaining and improving equipment reliability. This role requires a proactive approach to troubleshooting and problem-solving, ensuring that all maintenance tasks are completed efficiently and effectively. The Maintenance Supervisor will work closely with various departments to provide exceptional customer service and support.
Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on electrical systems, HVAC/R units, and industrial machinery.
- Troubleshoot electrical issues using tools such as ammeters and other diagnostic equipment.
- Conduct inspections of equipment to identify potential problems and implement corrective actions.
- Collaborate with field service teams to ensure timely resolution of maintenance requests.
- Operate equipment safely while adhering to safety protocols.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including work performed and parts used.
- Provide excellent customer service by responding promptly to maintenance inquiries and concerns.
- Assist in the training of junior staff members on maintenance procedures and best practices as needed.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a maintenance engineer in a similar environment reporting to the Hotel General Manager preferred.
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems, low voltage applications, and HVAC/R systems.
- Experience with industrial mechanics, including troubleshooting mechanical issues.
- Ability to operate required equipment safely and effectively.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a focus on a sense of urgency.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective collaboration with team members.
