We are looking for a skilled and dedicated Maintenance Technician to support our client’s manufacturing operations by ensuring the reliability and efficiency of their automated and conventional machinery. This role is responsible for maintaining and repairing hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechatronic systems associated with CNC machines and die casting equipment, as well as robots and other production automation.
CANDIDATES WITH EXPERIENCE IN MAINTENANCE OF CNC MACHINES WILL BE GIVEN TOP PRIORITY.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Correct deficiencies and maintain optimal operating performance of CNC machines and die casting equipment, supporting robots and other production automation. Experience with high-volume CNC production equipment, automated machining cells, multi-axis machining centers, and/or industrial automation integrated with CNC equipment is strongly preferred.
- Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, hydraulic & pneumatic systems on production equipment.
- Develop and carry out Preventive Maintenance and any resulting repairs independently.
- Carry out electrical installations, such as machine connections, lighting fixtures, and socket installations.
- Carry out modifications and extensions on plant and machinery, and draw up switching plans for documentation purposes.
- Procure spare parts from the Tool Crib or warehouse, taking account of the requirements of inventory control and materials management.
- Identify Environmental Aspects for assigned department, and support Environmental Management Plan (EMP) goals and targets through training, engagement and communications.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Knowledge of multiple control systems such as PLC controls, Siemens, etc.
- Ability to gain knowledge of programming, troubleshooting, and maintenance of Kuka and applicable robots, and die casting machines.
- Two years of Technical Training or a Bachelors Degree in Engineering, or equivalent experience.
- HS Diploma or equivalent
SCHEDULE : 12-Hour Night Shift 6:45PM – 7:00AM, 2 - 3 - 2 SCHEDULE
WORK ENVIRONMENT: This is a Foundry/Metal Production type environment – non-climate-controlled, can get very hot in some areas, particularly in the summer.

Pay: $28.00 - $35.00 per hour
