Duties
- Plan and execute engaging volleyball training sessions tailored to different skill levels and age groups
- Develop strategic game plans and conduct team practices to improve techniques, teamwork, and overall performance
- Provide clear instruction on volleyball fundamentals, rules, and safety protocols to ensure a safe playing environment
- Foster a positive team culture by promoting sportsmanship, motivation, and respectful communication among players
- Monitor player progress through assessments and provide constructive feedback to support continuous improvement
- Coordinate team logistics for games, tournaments, and events, ensuring all equipment and facilities are prepared
- Collaborate with parents, club staff, or community organizations to support athlete development and participation
Requirements
- Prior experience working with children or youth in sports or educational settings
- Demonstrated volleyball playing experience or coaching background; volleyball-specific training instruction preferred
- Knowledge of volleyball rules, techniques, and strategies; experience coaching volleyball or similar sports is a plus
- Strong communication skills to effectively instruct players and engage with parents or guardians
- Ability to lead with enthusiasm while maintaining discipline and behavior management skills
- Certifications in First Aid and CPR (or willingness to obtain) for safety compliance not required.
- Experience operating AED devices is advantageous but not required.
- Background in physical education teaching or sports team leadership enhances suitability for this role
