Facilities Coordinator
Description:
Southwest Aerospace Technologies, LLC is a private aviation company, specializing in private jet aircraft parts and component repairs. The company has a FAA, EASA, CAA & TCCA Part 145 maintenance repair station, focusing on high quality service to customers in the areas of aircraft maintenance, maintenance support, parts and component repair, and consulting.
Role Objective:
The Facilities Coordinator is responsible for the maintenance of S.W.A.T.'s facilities, ensuring a safe and functional workspace for employees. This position is responsible for maintaining assigned areas of S.W.A.T. This will include scheduled, routine and as needed maintenance of buildings, etc. This position will also be responsible for crate building for the shipping of aircraft parts and components.
Key Objective:
- Assist in effectiveness and productivity of the company by proactive and reactive maintenance and other tasks
Major Duties and Responsibilities:
- Responsible for the upkeep of buildings and grounds, including scheduling regular maintenance and repairs
- Responsible for moving hazardous materials from all areas accessible to employees and guests
- Regularly check structures and identify needs for repairs and renovations
- Check rooms and furniture to identify needs for repairs or renovations
- Adheres to established procedures to provide a safe working environment including complying with state/local, federal, and company regulations
- Maintains a clean and orderly environment to protect the safety and health of others
- Properly maintains common areas, parking lots, etc.
- Reports maintenance concerns to appropriate personnel
- Assists in crate building for shipping of aircraft parts and components
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Knowledge of woodworking, carpentry as well as cleaning and sanitizing practices.
Strong multitasking and organizational abilities to manage various projects and tasks effectively
Ability to effectively interact and tactfully communicate with coworkers
Must be able to read, write and understand rules, regulations and policies
Must maintain high standards of performance for self and others;
Required Education/Experience:
Minimum of one year maintenance experience
Minimum of one year woodworking experience
Must have and maintain a valid driver’s license and must meet the company's vehicle insurance requirements.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $16.00 - $20.00 per hour
