A commercial and residential glazing contractor in the Miramar area looking for a full-time experienced Receptionist to become an integral part of our sales team.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Answer phone calls from the public, direct calls appropriately.
Assist walk-in visitors to the organization and direct them accordingly.
Monitor and direct incoming faxes and emails.
Notify will-call customers when their orders are ready for pick-up, assist them with the process when they report to the store. Process customer payments.
Provide quotes to customers and assist in sales or sell jobs. Process customer deposits and payments.
Support customer questions and concerns by responding within 24 hours.
Set up measurement and estimate appointments with customers.
Follow up on quotes provided to customers.
Assist customers who visit the Showroom by demonstrating sample display product knowledge.
Ensure Showroom environment is safe and clean and insist on parental control of children.
Participates in special projects.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:
Minimum years of relevant experience: 1 year in customer service related position.
Computer/Software: moderate proficiency with PC and Ms-office.
Communication skills: ability to communicate verbally and in writing.
Language skills: English proficiency essential, Spanish useful.
Mathematical skills: High School math/arithmetic skills sufficient to perform basic calculations.
Other: Strong sense of customer service, good organizational skills, detail oriented. Must be able to problem solve and offer solutions to clients.
