Event Operations Worker - Cescaphe Event Group, Philadelphia:
- The Operations team is responsible for setting up and maintaining event venues.
- Work directly with the event team and other operational members.
- Arranging furniture, food displays, and linens.
- Ensure regular cleaning and the timely setup of items like cakes and ice sculptures.
- Operations staff may assist with cooking under the direction of the Event Chef or Sous Chef and must maintain cleanliness and follow safety and hygiene rules.
- Team members should support each other to ensure smooth operations and may be assigned additional tasks as needed.
- Lifting and moving heavy event equipment.
- Assist with putting food out on buffets.

Essential Knowledge & Skills:
- Education: High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED)
- Work Experience: 6 months year related experience and/or training
- Freedom from illegal use of drugs and freedom from the use and effects of use of drugs and alcohol in the workplace.
Specialized Knowledge & Skills:
- Language: Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers.
- Mathematical: Ability to add and subtract two-digit numbers and to multiply and divide with 10's and 100's. Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.
- Reasoning: Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
