The Talent We Seek:
We’re seeking an experienced Permit Expeditor to manage and streamline approvals with local jurisdictions across multiple states. You’ll handle the permitting process from start to finish—reviewing plans, preparing and submitting applications for construction, HVAC, and fire permits, tracking progress, and ensuring compliance with codes and regulations.
In this role, you’ll coordinate with project teams, clients, and contractors, develop strong relationships with municipal agencies, and resolve issues to keep projects on schedule. Responsibilities may include site visits, attending agency meetings, and performing administrative and follow-up tasks to support project progress.
Qualifications:
Minimum of 2 years of experience as a permit expeditoror in a similar role within the construction industry
Strong administrative skills, including the ability to complete and submit forms electronically or as required by local jurisdictions
Excellent communication skills, with frequent interaction by phone and email with various municipal offices
Knowledge of building codes and zoning regulations is a plus
Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities simultaneously
Flexibility to work additional hours when necessary to meet time-sensitive project deadlines
