Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook menu items with precision, adhering to recipes and presentation standards.
- Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, including grills, braising pots, poaching tools, and food prep stations.
- Maintain high standards of food safety and sanitizing procedures to ensure a clean and safe environment.
- Assist in menu planning by suggesting new ideas and ensuring ingredient availability for daily operations.
- Handle food production tasks such as food handling, portioning, and meal assembly for high-volume service.
- Ensure proper food storage, rotation, and inventory management to minimize waste.
- Collaborate with team members to deliver excellent food service in a lively trailer setting while maintaining a positive attitude.
Qualifications
- Previous experience as a dietary aide or in a food service role within a fast-paced environment.
- Strong culinary skills including grilling, braising, poaching, and knife techniques.
- Knowledge of food safety management practices and sanitizing procedures.
- Experience with menu planning, recipe adherence, and high-volume food production.
- Familiarity with operating kitchen equipment such as grills, ovens, fryers, and food prep tools.
- Background in fine dining or restaurant environments is a plus.
- Excellent food handling skills combined with a passion for quality meal preparation.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail in a mobile setting.
