Cerakote Prep Associate
SUMMARY
GlockStore is seeking a detail-oriented Cerakote Prep Associate to assist the Cerakote Technician with the preparation of metal components and parts prior to Cerakote application.
WORK LOCATION: On-Site (Remote work not available)
HOURS: Monday-Friday: 7 AM - 3:30 PM
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Assist with preparing parts for coating, including cleaning, blasting, masking, and ensuring surfaces are free of contaminants.
- Assist with curing and inspecting coated parts to ensure quality standards and specifications are met.
- Assist with blasting and tumbling machined parts as part of the finishing process.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient work area, including routine maintenance and cleaning of equipment and workspace.
- Follow all safety protocols, regulations, and quality control standards throughout the coating and finishing process.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
Must be able to stand for extended periods and lift up to 40 lbs. Position involves repetitive hand movements, use of hand tools and blasting equipment, and working with small parts requiring close attention to detail. Employees must be able to wear required PPE, including respirators, gloves, and eye protection, and work safely around coatings, chemicals, and manufacturing equipment.
BACKGROUND CHECKS AND DRUG SCREENING

QUALIFICATIONS:
- High school diploma or GED required
- 1-2 years of manufacturing, coating, or related experience preferred
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work with small parts and tight tolerances
- Comfortable using hand tools, spray guns, and sandblasting equipment
- Basic computer skills, including Google Sheets and Docs
- Ability to follow technical instructions and quality standards
- Strong organizational, communication, and teamwork skills
- Cerakote Certification is a plus
