Job Summary
International Precision Machining is seeking a Class A or Machinist II with at least 3 years of recent CNC turning-center experience to join our 2nd shift team. This role completes proven setups and operates CNC turning centers. The ideal candidate takes pride in producing accurate parts, attention to detail, problem solving ability, and supporting less experienced operators.
Starting wage $24.00 to $31.00 base wage per hour + shift differential.
What you will do
- Read , interpret and understand blueprints, planning sheets, and technical information to complete machine setups.
- Complete proven setups by installing tooling, loading approved programs, establishing work coordinates, and making basic program edits using FANUC controls.
- Run a CNC turning center cell using Doosan and Takamaz machines with FANUC controls.
- Monitor operations, troubleshoot issues, and adjust feeds, speeds, offsets, and tooling to maintain tolerances.
- Inspect parts using manual precision measuring devices and present an accurate first piece to Quality Control.
- Complete required setup, quality, production, and ERP system documentation.
- Perform basic maintenance and keep machines, tooling, parts, and work areas clean and orderly.
What We are looking For
Qualified candidates must have at least 3 years of recent, hands-on experience operating CNC turning centers and completing proven setups in a production machining environment. Experience running a CNC turning center cell using Doosan and Takamaz machines with FANUC controls is strongly preferred. Candidates must also demonstrate strong blueprint-reading and manual measuring skills, mechanical aptitude, logical problem-solving ability, and a consistent commitment to safety, quality, and productivity.
