Position: Senior Arcade Game Technician
Arcade Monsters, one of the nation’s fastest-growing arcade brands, operates three locations in California and five locations in Florida. Our San Diego location located in the heart of downtown, spans over 13,000 sq. ft. and features a wide array of gaming experiences, including:
- Retro and classic arcade cabinets
- Rhythm and music games
- Pinball machines
- Large-format and experiential games
- Consoles, indie titles, and new releases
- Sports games, crane machines, and more
We are seeking an Experienced Arcade Game Technician with advanced technical expertise to maintain and optimize the performance, reliability, and uptime of our diverse game floor. This is a key role for candidates with a strong track record in arcade diagnostics, repair, and preventative maintenance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform expert-level diagnostics, troubleshooting, and repair of arcade and electronic gaming equipment
- Replace components, source parts, and ensure consistent peak performance across all machines
- Conduct advanced preventative maintenance and implement long-term reliability strategies
- Collaborate with other senior technicians and leadership to resolve complex technical issues
- Efficiently disassemble, reassemble, and rebuild machines as required
- Manage tasks independently while responding promptly to operational needs
Qualifications:
- Extensive hands-on experience with arcade and electronic gaming systems
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Proven ability to operate autonomously and take ownership of equipment performance
- Passion for delivering high-quality gaming experiences
