We are seeking a Physical Therapy Technician to join our team! Take advantage of an unparalleled educational opportunity to learn about rehabilitation programs and pave the way for graduate school with patient contact hours.
Hours can be somewhat flexible as our Patient Therapy hours are 6am-7pm Monday-Thursday and 6am-4pm Fridays; Tech can work anywhere between 20-40/week depending on the needs of the clinic and the availability of the tech. Great job to work around school schedules.
Possibility of working in both West Bloomfield and Brighton locations.
Responsibilities:
- Work directly with patients to achieve maximum physical recovery
- Setting up patients on modalities like ultrasound, hot/cold packs, electric stimulation, etc.
- Helping the patient get started on exercise equipment
- Assisting clinicians with documentation
- Checking patients in and out, scheduling and collecting co-pays
- Prepare and keep treatment areas clean and organized
- Educate patients on proper use of equipment
- Collaborate with other team personnel to achieve well-rounded care
Qualifications:
- No required education or experience necessary, but physical therapy experience preferred.
- Ability to build rapport with patients
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong leadership qualities

Pay: $14.00 - $16.00 per hour
