Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive diagnostics using automotive electrical systems, schematics, and advanced tools to identify issues accurately.
- Repair and maintain various vehicle components including engines, transmissions, suspensions, brakes, shocks & struts, and powertrain systems.
- Conduct oil changes, tire services, wheel alignments, and vehicle inspections to ensure safety and compliance with manufacturer standards.
- Utilize hand tools and power tools efficiently for repairs such as auto body work, and component replacements.
- Service ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems) to meet modern vehicle technology demands.
- Follow detailed repair procedures based on schematics and technical manuals; communicate findings clearly to customers or team members.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace while adhering to safety protocols during all automotive repair activities.
Qualifications
- Proven mechanic experience with a strong background in automotive repair and maintenance.
- Dealership experience is highly preferred for familiarity with manufacturer-specific procedures.
- Knowledge of automotive electrical systems, schematics, and diagnostics tools is essential.
- Hands-on experience with diesel engine repair, brake repair, wheel alignment, suspension work, and tire service.
- Ability to work with various hand tools, power tools, and automotive service machinery.
- Familiarity with GM vehicles or other major brands is a plus; certification in ADAS or air brake systems is advantageous.
- Strong mechanical knowledge combined with excellent customer service skills to explain repairs clearly and build trust.
