Join Cicero Prep's historically dominant volleyball program as a Middle School Volleyball Head Coach, where you will lead, inspire, and develop young athletes in a vibrant and supportive environment. Responsibilities
- Plan and execute comprehensive volleyball training programs tailored to MS level athletes, emphasizing skill development, teamwork, and sportsmanship
- Lead practices, drills, and game-day strategies to enhance athletic performance and game understanding
- Foster a positive, inclusive team environment that encourages respect, discipline, and motivation among players
- Communicate effectively with students, parents, school staff, and fellow coaches to ensure clear expectations and support systems are in place
- Monitor player progress through assessments and provide constructive feedback to promote continuous improvement
- Ensure safety protocols are followed during all practices and games
Requirements
- Proven coaching experience in volleyball or other team sports at the youth or school level
- Strong communication skills capable of motivating students and collaborating with staff and parents
- Experience teaching physical education or sports-specific training instruction is highly desirable
- Ability to manage behavior effectively while fostering a respectful team atmosphere
- Certifications in basic first aid are required
- Prior experience working with children or students in childcare settings or educational/athletic environments is preferred

Pay: $1,500.00 - $2,000.00 per year
