We are currently seeking an Upper School Math Teacher for the 2026-2027 school year.
Experience and Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics or a related field; advanced degree(s) preferable, not required
Teaching certification desired
Must have content knowledge/mastery of Algebra I, Geometry (Regular/Honors), Algebra II, PreCalculus (Regular/Honors/AP), AP Statistics, and additional upper level math courses
Experience working with high school-aged children
Patience, flexibility, and a sense of humor
A solid understanding of child development, varied learning styles, and effective strategies for dealing with such differences
Well-developed, effective classroom management skills
Strong organization skills
Excellent communication skills - verbal and written
Works well in a collaborative model with administrators, other teachers, and parents
Experience with integrating technology into the classroom
Ability to engage and inspire students, parents, and families
