- Local Routes Only: You will be running dedicated daily routes in the greater Buffalo area. No long-haul, no overnight stays, and absolutely no 18-wheelers. You sleep in your own bed every night.

What You Will Do
- Arrive at the local FedEx Ground terminal each morning to organize your load, sync your scanner, and inspect your assigned vehicle.
- Safely execute daily delivery and pickup routes in high-density residential and commercial zones.
- Handle a fast-paced physical workload, seamlessly managing Customer Pick-Ups (CPUs) and package drop-offs.
- Conduct mandatory pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections (DVIRs) to ensure fleet safety.
Requirements (The Non-Negotiables)
- Age: Must be at least 21 years old.
- Experience: Previous commercial driving experience is a major plus, but NO CDL is required.
- Clean Record: Must have a valid driver’s license with a clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR).
- Clearances: Must pass First Advantage background check. Must be able to pass a DOT physical to obtain a DOT Medical Card and pass a pre-employment DOT drug screening (mandatory FedEx requirement).
- Physical Ability: This is a physical job. You must be able to comfortably lift, load, and carry packages up to 150 lbs (with a provided hand truck) and get in and out of a truck consistently throughout the day.
- Safety Mindset: Willingness to operate a vehicle equipped with dual-facing dash cameras (VEDR) and telematics to ensure everyone gets home safely.
Compensation & Benefits
- Starting Pay: $160.00 – $200.00+ per day (Based on experience, stop volume, and vehicle classification).
- Paid training and official Defensive Driving Certification provided by the company.
