Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and energetic Front Desk Agent to serve as the welcoming face of our hospitality team. Duties
- Greet guests warmly upon arrival, providing a friendly and professional first impression
- Manage guest check-in and check-out procedures efficiently using hotel management software system.
- Handle multi-line phone systems with excellent phone etiquette, addressing inquiries and directing calls appropriately
- Provide information about hotel amenities, local attractions, and services to enhance guest experience
- Assist with guest requests, complaints, and emergency procedures promptly and courteously
- Maintain accurate records of guest reservations, billing, and special requests while ensuring data confidentiality
- Support night audit operations by reconciling accounts and preparing reports to ensure financial accuracy overnight
- Collaborate with hotel management to uphold safety protocols, including hotel emergency procedures and guest safety standards
Qualifications
- Proven experience in hospitality management or front desk operations within a hotel or resort environment
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to handle diverse guest needs professionally
- Multilingual or bilingual abilities are highly desirable to serve an international clientele effectively
- Familiarity with hotel management systems such as Lightspeed is preferred
- Knowledge of hotel emergency procedures and guest relations best practices
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, complemented by professional phone etiquette
- Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays as required for shift coverage
- Previous experience in resort settings or with hotel experience is advantageous
