Maintenance Supervisor

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Maintenance Supervisor to oversee facility operations, maintenance, and repair activities supporting Installation. What You'll Do Leadership & Team Management
- Lead and supervise union personnel and skilled trades teams responsible for facility maintenance and repair operations.
- Provide daily direction, coaching, mentoring, and performance feedback to employees and subordinate supervisors.
- Schedule, prioritize, and assign work while ensuring efficient use of labor, equipment, and resources.
- Promote a culture of safety, accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
Operations & Maintenance
- Oversee maintenance, repair, installation, and operational activities across multiple facility systems and trades, including:
- HVAC systems
- Buildings and structures
- Roads and grounds
- Power generation systems
- Security and alarm systems
- Locksmith services
- Barracks maintenance
- Welding and sign shop operations
- Monitor work quality and conduct inspections to ensure compliance with project requirements and industry standards.
- Respond to emergency maintenance situations and help resolve operational challenges.
Planning & Coordination
- Develop work schedules and coordinate daily maintenance activities.
- Estimate labor, materials, and equipment needed for projects.
- Initiate requisitions for supplies, tools, and equipment.
- Review and approve work orders, operation logs, and employee time records.
- Identify recurring maintenance issues and implement cost-effective solutions.
Safety & Compliance
- Ensure compliance with APTIM, customer, and government safety requirements.
- Conduct safety meetings and training sessions.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation.
- Support Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) and Quality Management programs.
- Foster safe working conditions and ensure safe work practices are consistently followed.
Stakeholder Engagement
- Build strong working relationships with customers, government representatives, subcontractors, and internal teams.
- Communicate professionally and effectively with diverse stakeholders.
- Represent APTIM with professionalism and integrity.
What We're Looking ForRequired Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum of 4 years of maintenance, facilities, public works, or related experience.
- Valid California driver's license.
- Demonstrated leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Associate degree or completion of technical coursework in a related field.
- Previous supervisory or team leadership experience.
- Experience working in facilities maintenance, military installations, public works, or industrial environments.
- Knowledge of multiple building trades and maintenance disciplines.
Pay: $95,000.00 per year
