Viva Senior Living is seeking a compassionate and dependable Registered Medication Aide (RMA) to join our care team. The RMA is responsible for medication administration while providing quality, respectful care to our residents.
- Administer and document medications accurately.
- Monitor residents for changes, side effects, or concerns and report them to nursing leadership.
- Obtain and document vital signs as needed.
- Assist residents with daily care and activities as needed.
- Maintain accurate resident documentation and medication records.
- Follow infection control, HIPAA, safety, and resident-rights requirements.
- Respond appropriately to resident needs and emergencies.
- Work cooperatively with residents, families, and team members.
- Perform additional resident care duties as assigned.
- Current RMA/Medication Technician certification as required by the state.
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Prior assisted living or memory care experience preferred.
- Compassionate, dependable, and professional.
- Able to meet the physical requirements of the position.
- Must complete required health screenings, background requirements, training, and competencies.
