Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented SMT Machine Operator to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in operating various machinery and equipment, ensuring high-quality production standards. This role requires mechanical knowledge, precision, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. The Machine Operator will be responsible for maintaining equipment, adhering to safety protocols, and contributing to the overall efficiency of the manufacturing process.
Responsibilities
- Operate and monitor various SMT machines electrical assembly equipment.
- Perform setup and adjustments on machinery as needed to ensure optimal performance.
- Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings to execute precise machining tasks.
- Conduct quality control checks using precision measuring instruments such as calipers and micrometers to ensure product specifications are met.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area while following safety guidelines and protocols.
- Collaborate with team members on the assembly line for efficient production flow.
- Handle materials with care during machining processes and assist in packaging finished products for shipment.
- Participate in routine maintenance of machinery to prevent downtime and ensure operational efficiency.
Experience
- Proven experience in a manufacturing or SMT machining environment is preferred.
- Experience operating forklifts and performing materials handling tasks is a plus.
- Knowledge of basic math principles for measurements and calculations related to machining tasks.
- Previous factory experience involving tooling, fabrication, assembly, welding, or quality control is beneficial.
