Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Warehouse Associate to join our dynamic team. This role is responsible for receiving, material movement and storing, picking, wrapping and shipping inventory, ensuring accurate documentation and safe material handling within the warehouse. This position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your skills in warehouse operations within a fast-paced, dynamic setting.
Responsibilities
- Receive, unload, and inspect incoming shipments using forklifts, pallet jacks, and other equipment to ensure accuracy and safety.
- Pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment with precision
- Maintain accurate inventory records through data entry in warehouse management systems.
- Organize stock in designated warehouse areas through stocking and proper storage techniques to optimize space utilization.
- Coordinate shipping logistics by preparing shipping labels, completing shipping & receiving documentation, and ensuring compliance with international trade regulations when applicable.
- Conduct regular inventory counts and audits to verify stock levels
- Support warehouse distribution activities by loading/unloading trucks, managing order fulfillment processes, and ensuring timely delivery to customers or distribution centers.
- Follow safety protocols during all warehouse operations, including the use of forklifts, pallet jacks, and other equipment to prevent accidents or injuries.
Qualifications
- Proven experience working in warehouse operations or distribution centers with familiarity with shipping & receiving procedures.
- Ability to perform basic math calculations accurately for inventory counts, measurements, and order processing.
- Valid forklift certification or experience operating forklifts and pallet jacks safely.
- Ability to read and write in English for orders, shipping instructions and other warehouse documents and materials.
- Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds and/or move heavy items regularly, stand for extended periods, and perform manual tasks as needed.
- Data entry skills with attention to detail for maintaining accurate records of shipments and inventory transactions.
- Knowledge of trade compliance standards and international trade regulations is a plus.
