As a Boiler Service Technician at AMS, you're the expertise behind every steam and hot water system our industrial clients depend on. Out of our beautiful Woodridge, IL facility, reporting to the General Manager, you'll troubleshoot commercial boilers, burner control systems, and all ancillary equipment, diagnosing and repairing a wide variety of problems with direct, hands-on knowledge of combustion, controls, and the equipment that keeps it all running.
You'll serve as a direct customer contact, identifying, evaluating, diagnosing, and repairing equipment and systems on-site to ensure satisfaction on every assigned project. The work is hands-on: performing combustion analysis and burner tuning, using specialty and hand tools alongside diagrams and engineering specifications, completing internal and external boiler and burner inspections, and evaluating boiler room and steam/hydronic systems to gather information and help solve problems.
