POSITION – SMT Operator
JOB LOCATION – Kenosha, WI 53144
STARTING DATE – Starting date would be dependent on interviewing. Interviews for qualified candidates are typically set up within a week. Nationwide background check required due to customer requirements (Costco, Walmart, and other major retailers)
EMPLOYMENT TERM – Temp-Hire
EMPLOYMENT TYPE – Full Time
WORK HOURS (SHIFT) – 3rd Shift - 9:00pm to 5:30am
STARTING PAY – $23.00/HR
REQUIRED EDUCATION – High School Diploma or equivelant
Responsibilities:
- Set up and operate SMT machines (e.g., pick-and-place, solder paste printer, reflow oven).
- Load components and verify correct feeder setup based on the bill of materials (BOM).
- Inspect PCBs for solder paste accuracy, component placement, and solder joint quality.
- Perform machine adjustments and minor maintenance as needed to ensure smooth operation.
- Identify and report defects, process issues, or equipment malfunctions.
- Read and interpret assembly drawings, work instructions, and production documentation.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and ESD-safe work environment.
- Complete production logs and other required documentation accurately.
Qualifications:
- Strong attention to detail and manual dexterity.
- Basic computer skills (e.g., for machine interface and tracking software).
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
- Flexibility to work overtime as needed
