Animal Caregiver
Ardmore Companion Animal Hospital, PLLC
We are seeking an Animal Caregiver to join our team. You will be responsible for overall care and well-being of the animals at our facility and their environment.
Monday shift 7:30am-6:30pm
Wednesday 7:30am -6:30pm
Every other Saturday morning shift 8:00am-2:00pm
Every other Sunday morning shift 8:00am-9:00am
Every other Sunday evening shift 5:00pm-6:00pm
Responsibilities:
- Handle general care tasks such as feeding, medicating and bathing of animals
- Launder and dry towels and blankets
- Know proper animal restraint techniques, assist with patient restraint
- Assist doctors and technicians with the administration of medications
- Deep cleaning of entire hospital
- Vacuum and mop entire hospital daily
- Clean bathrooms daily
- Perform other duties as assigned
- Cleaning of cages, runs and wards
- Provide compassionate care to patients
- Walk hospitalized and boarded patients several times per day
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds'
