Overview
Early-career opportunity for a Geotechnical / Civil Engineer to support site development and construction projects through field inspections, reporting, and technical analysis. This role offers a mix of office and fieldwork with strong mentorship and professional growth.
Responsibilities

Review engineering plans, specifications, and technical reports

Perform field inspections and testing for fills, foundations, retaining walls, utilities, asphalt, and concrete

Document field observations and assist with report preparation

Coordinate with project managers, contractors, and senior engineers
Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related discipline

2 years of geotechnical, site civil, or environmental experience (internship or construction experience preferred)

EIT or ability to pursue PE licensure

OSHA HAZWOPER, ACI, NICET, or related certifications a plus

Valid driver’s license and ability to travel to job sites
Technical Skills

Familiarity with AutoCAD, Civil 3D, MS Word, and Excel

Exposure to geotechnical software (GSLOPE, Rocscience, KeyWall) preferred
Work Environment

Combination of office and fieldwork; outdoor work varies by project and weather conditions

Ability to work on uneven terrain and lift up to 50 lbs; PPE required in the field
Compensation
-
$55,000–$80,000 base salary
