We are seeking a Part-Time Mammography Technologist to provide exceptional diagnostic imaging services while enjoying a flexible schedule that supports work-life balance.
This position offers 24 hours per week, working 12-hour shifts on Saturdays and either Fridays or Mondays, making it an ideal opportunity for professionals seeking a predictable schedule while remaining connected to a high-quality healthcare organization. Best of all, this position has no call responsibilities and no holiday requirements.
Queen's North Hawai'i Community Hospital is a 35-bed rural acute care hospital located in Waimea (Kamuela), Hawai'i Island. More than 300 employees and over a dozen employed physicians staff the main hospital, as well as the outpatient clinics located in the Lucy Henriques Medical Center, the Primary Care Clinic, and the Specialty Clinic located in the Parker Ranch Center.

The Mammography Technologist performs a variety of mammography procedures related to the breast and provides exceptional patient care throughout the imaging process. This role also supports quality assurance activities to ensure ongoing compliance with accreditation standards and imaging excellence.

Perform a variety of mammography procedures and breast imaging examinations.

Provide exceptional patient care and support throughout the imaging experience.

Ensure patient safety, comfort, and confidentiality.

Conduct and monitor mammography quality assurance testing as assigned.

Maintain accreditation, regulatory, and safety standards.

Collaborate with radiologists, providers, and clinical staff to deliver high-quality patient care.

Current Hawai'i State Radiologic Technologist License.

Mammography Certification through the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT), or certification recognized by the State of California, Nevada, or Arizona.

Current BLS/HCP Certification.

One (1) year of Mammography experience preferred.
