GameDay Men's Health is transforming men's healthcare by providing an exceptional patient experience in a modern, concierge-style clinic specializing in Testosterone Replacement Therapy (TRT), erectile dysfunction, weight loss, peptide therapy, PRP, and vitamin optimization.
Our Rocklin clinic is seeking a part-time Medical Assistant who also holds a current California Certified Phlebotomy Technician (CPT) certification. This is a hands-on role for someone who enjoys building relationships with patients, thrives in a fast-paced clinical environment, and is passionate about helping men improve their health and quality of life.
Blood draws are a primary responsibility of this position. Applicants must have excellent venipuncture skills and be confident performing blood draws independently while providing a professional, comfortable patient experience. Candidates without a current California Certified Phlebotomy Technician (CPT) certification and strong phlebotomy experience will not be considered.
This position is primarily based at our Rocklin clinic but may occasionally provide coverage one day per week at our Southwest Sacramento clinic, or as needed.
Key ResponsibilitiesClinical Duties
- Perform venipuncture and blood draws throughout the day with accuracy, confidence, and professionalism
- Run and maintain in-house laboratory equipment
- Process, prepare, and ship laboratory specimens
- Administer IM and SubQ injections, including testosterone, peptides, B12, MIC, and other vitamin therapies
- Record patient history, vital signs, and documentation in the EMR
- Assist medical providers with examinations and procedures
- Review and enter laboratory results into the EMR
- Monitor medication inventory and medical supplies
- Maintain OSHA, CLIA, HIPAA, and infection control standards
Patient Care & Front Office
- Welcome patients and provide a world-class concierge experience
- Check patients in and out efficiently and professionally
- Schedule appointments and coordinate follow-up visits
- Collect patient payments, process billing transactions, and answer basic billing questions
- Verify patient information and assist with patient paperwork
- Answer patient questions and provide outstanding customer service
- Assist with phone calls, appointment confirmations, and patient communications
- Work closely with providers to ensure an exceptional patient experience from start to finish
Clinic Operations
- Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming clinic environment
- Clean exam rooms and restock supplies between patients
- Remove trash and maintain clinic cleanliness throughout the day
- Assist with opening and closing clinic procedures
- Support the team with administrative and operational tasks as needed
QualificationsRequired
- Current California Medical Assistant
- Current California Certified Phlebotomy Technician (CPT) certification
- Current BLS Certification
- Excellent venipuncture skills with experience performing blood draws independently
- Comfortable administering IM and SubQ injections
- Strong computer skills and proficiency with EMR systems and Google Workspace
- Outstanding communication and customer service skills
- Professional appearance with a positive, team-oriented attitude
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced clinical environment
- Reliable transportation and willingness to work at both the Rocklin and Southwest Sacramento clinics as needed
- No active or pending malpractice claims
Preferred
- Experience in men's health, hormone replacement therapy, endocrinology, urology, family practice, wellness, aesthetics, or regenerative medicine
- Experience performing in-house laboratory testing
- Previous front office medical experience, including appointment scheduling, patient billing, payment processing, and patient communications
