Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT) / Medical Laboratory Scientist (MLS) – Night Shift Location: Lake Geneva, WI (Mercyhealth Walworth Hospital)
Contract: 13 Weeks
Shift: Night Shift
Guaranteed Hours: 40 Hours/Week
Pay: $60–$64/hour
We are seeking an experienced Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT) or Medical Laboratory Scientist (MLS) for a travel assignment in Lake Geneva, WI. If you have strong laboratory experience and enjoy working in a fast-paced hospital environment, we'd love to hear from you!
Requirements
- Current MLT/MLS Generalist Certification or Specialty Certification (BB, C, H, or M).
- Hematology and Blood Bank experience required.
- Must meet CLIA high-complexity testing personnel qualifications (493.1489).
- Education verification required.
- Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Responsibilities
- Collect and process patient specimens for laboratory testing.
- Perform laboratory testing in hematology, chemistry, urinalysis, blood bank, and microbiology using automated and manual methods.
- Analyze and verify test results for accuracy before reporting.
- Perform quality control, proficiency testing, instrument calibration, and preventive maintenance.
Pay: $60.00 - $64.00 per hour
