Job Summary
We are urgently seeking attentive and dependable hourly caregivers to join our team for morning and evening shifts in Fairbanks and North Pole Area . This vital role involves supporting seniors with disabilities, Alzheimer's or Dementia by delivering high-quality care, ensuring safety, and fostering a nurturing environment. The ideal candidates will demonstrate a genuine passion for caregiving, possess excellent communication skills, and be committed to making a positive difference in the lives of those they serve.
Responsibilities:
- Provide personal care and assistance with daily activities as needed.
- Ensure the safety and well-being of the individual(s) under your care.
- Assist with transfers, incontinence care and medication reminders and administration as directed.
- Prepare meals and assist with feeding if necessary.
- Maintain a clean and organized living environment.
- Engage in meaningful activities and companionship with the individual(s).
- Communicate effectively with family members and healthcare professionals as needed.
Requirements:
- Prior experience in caregiving, preferably with incontinence care experience & wheelchair bound.
- Has a reliable vehicle for shift assignment
- Passion for providing care and support to others.
- Excellent attendance record and reliability in fulfilling duties.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively.
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record (if applicable).
- CPR and First Aid certification (preferred).
- Must be eligible to work in Fairbanks, Alaska.
